The second version of this program began in 2022, seeking to accompany 658 producers and their families, totaling 2,439 people, so that they can transform their farms into sustainable coffee companies.
This project is part of Grupo Nutresa’s initiatives to promote responsible sourcing, thus impacting not only the producers and their families, but also all the links in the coffee chain, improving the quality of life of coffee growers, contributing to sustainability and the construction of a better world where development is for all.
For three years we have been accompanying, through our allies in the field Ecom, Carcafé and Sucafina, producers in Huila, Santander and Antioquia so that they can transform their farms into sustainable businesses and this will allow us to strengthen the coffee production system.
With these three programs we are making progress in closing the gaps in the dimensions of sustainability:
Prosperity
Pest and disease management.
Purchase plan for dry parchment coffee in Huila.
Training and implementation of the registration and cost control model.
Construction of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) guidelines.

Our brand Matiz is a coffee that works with projects associated with our family coffee enterprise programs in Santander, Huila and Antioquia. We promote the care of agroforestry systems, the maintenance of water sources and the establishment of beehives for bees. In addition, its social responsibility is focused on strengthening the capacities of the coffee growing communities where Matiz, together with its programs, works to promote generational splicing and the prevention of child labor in the field.
